Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola hailed Yaya Toure’s quality following the Citizens’ FA Cup win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Yaya played a key role in the fourth round victory, scoring a stunning freekick in added time to make it 3-0, and he was one of the players picked out by Guardiola during his post-match interview.

The manager said:

“We can play better but I’m happy and David (Silva) was amazing the way he kept waiting and waiting for right moment before playing in Leroy – and Yaya, with his quality, scoring the third – he is an exceptional player.”
