Yaya Touré has today expressed his deepest condolences to the family of Cheick Tioté after the sudden death of his former Ivory Coast teammate.

The pair regularly played alongside each other for their national team and won the Africa Cup of Nations together in 2015.

Yaya posted on Facebook: “My brother Cheick. I cannot believe you are gone. I will never forget you.”
