Yaya is happy to have bagged a brace in Manchester City’s 2-1 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Thrilled to help secure City’s victory with a goal in each half, Yaya was optimistic following the game:

“For me, to be honest, I just want to help the team. City are always involved in the title race and we will keep it going.

“My team-mates are very important to me and have always been brilliant, and I was prepared mentally.”

Yaya hopes to continue playing his part in his team’s quest for the Premier League title:

“Maybe my prediction is it will be like 2014. It will go to the end, but we have quality players who can score at any moment.”
